Crockpot Ham and Lentil Soup

1 and ¼ cup of red lentils
3 stalks of celery chopped
2/3 cup of carrots chopped
½ of sweet onion chopped
2 cups diced cooked ham

1 tsp of garlic powder
½ teaspoon of basil
¼ teaspoon of thyme
½ teaspoon of oregano
¼ teaspoon of black pepper
32 ounces of water

1 chicken bouillon (We use Harvest Sun bouillon)*

 *you can replace 2 cups of the water and bouillon for 2 cups of low sodium chicken broth.


1. Dissolve bouillon in about 1 cup of hot water.

2. Add to Crockpot along with all the remaining ingredients.

3. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 5-7 hours.
