2 cloves of garlic, crushed
½ cup of very thinly sliced fennel bulb
1 cup of button mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp of butter
2 tbsp of white wine
1 cup of cream
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Melt butter in a medium heated pan and then add shallots
and garlic. Cook until shallots and garlic are soft.
2. Increase heat to medium-hot and add mushrooms
and fennel. Cook and stir until fennel
is soft.
3. Add wine and cook until reduced to a quarter the
amount.
4. Add cream and cook and stir until thickened.
5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
